There were money showers on Interstate 285 in Atlanta Tuesday evening.
Dunwoody police said drivers were calling 911 at around 8 p.m. reporting that money was flying all over the road. Several drivers pulled over to grab as much money as they could.
The driver of an armored car told police their side door came open as they were driving and money began to spill on the interstate.
Police say picking up the money is a rime and those who stopped to grab cash could be charged with theft of lost or mislaid property.
Some people turned over some of the money to police on Wednesday.
