The Columbus community came out for a drive-in rally and concert at the Columbus Civic Center Sunday afternoon.
The event was presented by the Urban League of Greater Columbus and Black Voters Matter and encouraged voting in the January 5 Senate runoffs.
The rally featured musical performances by local artists as well as gospel recording artist Leandria Johnson and R&B artist Angie Stone. There were also streamed performances from artists, including Monica, Jeezy, Rick Ross, and more.
Free food was available to those in attendance. Community leaders as well as area radio personalities made appearances and spoke to the crowd.
